Glazed Ceramic Tile -
available in a wide variety of colors to go with any decor style, this tile has a material baked onto its surface that gives a durable floor surface that is easy to maintain. Glazed ceramic floor tile can be made to look like they were made of natural stone. Be sure that the surface has a slip-resistant finish when using where the floor will be wet.
Glazed tile has the smooth cool feel of ceramic bathroom tile designs but has a much richer look and feel in our opinion. Using a few glazed ceramic tiles in your otherwise porcelain design can be quite nice. If you go for all glazed tiles be careful to select a pattern that does not overwhelm.
Glazed tiles are available in high-gloss, matte, and abrasive slip-resistant finishes. High-gloss tiles will become slippery when wet, so they are probably not a good choice for flooring. Hand-painted glazed tiles come in beautiful and intricate patterns, but the glaze doesn’t go all the way through, so if it gets chipped, you’re going to see the color inside, which will give your tile a discordant look.
