As we were combing the web for the latest in bathroom tile design trends and styles I ran across a great article on treehugger.com.
Design Glut is the name of a product design company that seems to be uber trendy. They have created bathroom tile designs fashioned from both plastic food trays and from half of a coffee mug.
Displayed at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair these tile designs seem to have been quite a hit.
In an interview by treehugger.com’s Colin Dunn writes, “They’ve added some fun, provocative designs for the Fair this year; the “Hookmakers” are a modular bathroom tile system that replace standard 6″x 6″ tiles with a built-in cup, to hold your toothbrush, toothpaste and whatever else you need within arms reach at the bathroom sink.”

Great idea on using the tile desings. Your bathroom is one of the easiest rooms to start with and relatively inexpensive as well. I just created a while new look for mine and I think it cost me less than $250, including paint. You can’t beat that. I was stuck with my floor so read a little bit and decided to make my shower curtain the theme.
I absolutely agree, the bathroom is one of the easiest rooms to start with and relatively inexpensive as well. I just created a while new look for mine and I think it cost me less than $250, including paint. You can’t beat that. I was stuck with the tile (apartment) so I made my shower curtain the focal point.
